Re: Series Discussion
I'd like to run with Parc Ferme. It'd be ideal for people who're limiting their testing to not worry about having a different setup for qualifying. Plus the qualifying order is more reflective of our pace at the start of the race which is the whole point anyway.

Whichever format provides more disadvantage to Mills.

Re: Series Discussion
So you choose 1 compound for the entire race? Qualify with hards means you have to run hards? Sorry, it was somewhat ambiguous for me.

Re: Series Discussion
Correct. You get get new sets of tyres every time though, no starting the race with worn tyres and such.

Re: Series Discussion
Ah, I think just now I realised why it was a conundrum as I thought parc fermé meant you just had to start with the qualy compound tyre. Hmm... makes me like parc fermé a lot less

Re: Series Discussion
Seeing as the race is fast approaching, we should probably make a decision on this soon.

Re: Series Discussion
New server located in Germany is purchased and in the process of being set up. There is no way to get live timing with this one, but it should suit us much better in general.

Re: Series Discussion
Cool, should serve most of us better, I hope
Lack of live timing is not an issue for us drivers, but a bit of a shame for those that want to follow the races :/

Re: Series Discussion
I liked having liveracers as a vague indication of pace. But having a server in the center of Europe will be worth it.
What's the verdict on Parc Ferme? I liked running with it personally, and would like to stick with it.

People who want to follow the races will still be able to watch streams Let's hope that Jimmy's wheel doesn't recalibrate again in mid race

Re: Series Discussion
Since we've purchased a 24 slot server for a grid of 22 drivers, it means there's 2 spectator slots for uh... you know... (You may have noticed a Bacho lurking in the server on Saturday until Richard arrived late )
Parc Fermé should remain as is, I enjoyed the 'do or die' situation I put myself in trying to make my 2 stop strategy work.

Re: Series Discussion
Parc Fermé allowed an excellent strategy battle, it should remain as it was! The only issue I have heard of was with Tero on his last stint, but I think that was only a one-off.

Re: Series Discussion
Server is updated with the latest tyre patch. I've added Melbourne and Barcelona to the rotation until Wednesday practice gets underway, so people can do some back to back testing with the new hard tyre vs the soft. I'm trusting Jimmy to get Imola available to everyone, as I'm away until next Wednesday. If the place crashes and burns, it's all his fault! :p

Re: Series Discussion
I will be unavailable for the San Marino GP due to being in Arizona. I'm not shipping my whole rig with me just to race, so someone else can take my place.
It's kind of a case of art (gaming) imitating life, as Irvine was ill for one race in the 2000 season, allowing Luciano Burti (Jaguar test driver) to race at the A1-Ring.
I will be watching Jimmy's stream, so drive safe!
