I may jump on and do some practice, but it's a public holiday here and I have a different schedule for the next day so won't be able to attend the race.

For the open reserve cars does it go in order of the signs within the reserves from top to bottom or whoever claims it first?

A note for everyone, please DO NOT update to the latest version of Melbourne. I don't want to cause unnecessary issues by switching to another version of the track.

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I cannot commit to what will be a great season, therefore i must surrender my seat. 7:30pm in UK is when I must put my kid to bed. Although he is generally very good, due to my partners work pattern, means that I can only 100%, definitely, say I could attend 5 or 6 races.

I am sorry for this. I did not check the start times before I joined and tbh i am actually a little gutted. You guys are really quick and I would have improved myself racing against you. And I was in the Tyrell. Sh*t....can it get any worse Laughing

I'm 50/50 on whether I'll be home in time to do this one. It's hard to tell, it'll be close.

If possible to get a car, then i will be 100% sure to make the race tomorrow

Waste of time. Internet issues, loud obnoxious music blasting through my house from inconsiderate people downstairs and then to top it all off I'm thrown into a wall by a ridiculous kerb. At least the next race cannot possibly be worse. ;w;

Well that was about as big of a disaster as can be done.

Qualified well, mostly thanks to the setup Jimmy sent through (massive thanks again on that).

Then the race happened. Once again a massive apologies to everyone for the turn one shenanigans I caused, pathetic stuff from me really. Came in far too hot with the cold tyres and brakes, someone who's been racing competitively as long as I have should know FAR better than that.

Had some damage so pitted to repair it, accidentally put in way too much fuel and ended up crashing out like an absolute twat 7 or so laps later.

All in all an absolute disaster and just reinforces the main reason I'm as much of a lone wanderer within the sim racing community as I am. Someone who drives as poorly as I do deserves to be left to rot.

Apologies for not being able to race. Usual AMS issues happened. Resetting my router just made things worse as now my internet started bugging as well. Ultimately I ended up in such a frustrated state that combined with my lack of pace I thought it best if I didn't race as the last time I tried racing when not in the right place mentally it didn't end well for anyone.

Will try round 2 if I can sort AMS out, otherwise will likely ask to be put on the reserve list so that someone more deserving can race.

I had a great time, happy with the result even if it involved spinning on a certain kerb and making cross bred Jordan-Ferrari Babies with Jimmy right at the end, enjoyed it so much that I may have to see about getting a permanent seat

Yeah true there man, though really should have already learnt more than enough to avoid that incident happening in the first place. It was a noob error really which I should be well past making at this stage. But yes, will learn from it and make sure it doesn't happen again.

At least it can only improve for next round and future SROL races so I guess if there's any sort of silver lining then there is that.
